Task 1 (General): A Short Note to Your Teacher

The Question

You cannot go to your English class tomorrow. Write a short note to your teacher. In your note: say you cannot come, say why, and ask for the homework. Write at least 30 words.

Model answer

Dear Mr Smith,

I am sorry. I cannot come to the English class tomorrow. I am ill and I must stay at home. Can you please send me the homework? I will come back on Monday.
