Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent stay at your hotel. I was a guest in room 214 from 3 to 5 June, having booked with you because of your central location during a three-day business conference nearby.
Unfortunately, the stay fell well short of what I had expected. On the first night, the air conditioning in my room did not work, and despite two calls to reception, no one came to repair it. As a result, I slept badly before an important meeting. To make matters worse, the breakfast advertised as included in my booking was not available on either morning, forcing me to find a café before each early start.
Given these problems, I feel a partial refund would be appropriate, and I would ask you to honour the breakfast that I had already paid for. I would be grateful if you could look into these matters and reply within two weeks.
Yours faithfully,
Daniel Costa
