Greenbridge Adult Education: Evening Classes

Greenbridge Community Learning Centre is pleased to announce its programme of evening classes for the autumn term. Whether you want to learn a new skill, meet new people, or simply try something different, there is something here for everyone. All classes are taught by experienced tutors in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere.

Conversational Spanish (Beginners). Tuesdays, 7–9 p.m., ten weeks. Perfect for anyone planning a holiday or simply curious about the language. No previous knowledge is needed, and all materials are provided. £90 for the full course.

Digital Photography. Wednesdays, 6.30–8.30 p.m., eight weeks. Learn how to take better pictures and edit them on a computer. Please note that students must bring their own digital camera; a smartphone is not suitable for this course. £75 for the full course.

Creative Writing. Thursdays, 7–9 p.m., twelve weeks. A supportive group for anyone who has ever wanted to write stories, poetry, or memoir. You will share your work and receive friendly feedback from the tutor and other students. £100 for the full course.

Introduction to Pottery. Mondays, 6–8 p.m., ten weeks. Get your hands dirty and make your own bowls and cups. All clay, tools, and firing are included in the price. £110 for the full course.

Fees and enrolment. An early-bird discount of ten per cent is available on all courses booked and paid for before 31 August. To enrol, visit our website or telephone the reception office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday. Places are limited and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note: if you are unable to attend a class, let your tutor know in advance where possible. Fees are non-refundable once a course has begun, although in exceptional circumstances a credit towards a future course may be offered.
